Share a session
Request to join an active session, use read-only viewing, and end sharing.
Session sharing lets a read-only viewer join work already in progress. It does not change the primary session’s resource scope.
Prerequisites
An active session and a session owner or authorized role that can review join requests are required.
Request to join
- The viewer sends a join request from the active session.
- The session owner or eligible authorized actor verifies the resource and request.
- Accept or reject the request.
Approve and end sharing
An approved viewer launches a read-only work surface and cannot make changes. Revoke the viewer when support work ends; the participant can also leave the session.
Result
An approved participant sees the session read-only; a rejected or revoked participant cannot access the work surface.
