Manage resources

A resource is the portal representation of a manual or gateway connection path and its operating scope. For Windows Agent resources, follow the connection agent flow; this guide covers adding, editing, and archiving manual resources.

Prerequisites

A resource management role and the target machine’s connection details are required.

Add a manual resource

1. Open the new-resource flow from Resources.
2. Enter its name, protocol, and connection path.
3. Check the required readiness signals and save.

Edit or archive a manual resource

Open a resource to update connection details when they change. Archive an unused resource instead of deleting it; review active assignments and sessions first.

Result

The resource appears in the workspace list with its current status; an archived resource is not available for new assignments.
