About Cerberus
Cerberus is an operations panel for governed access to existing computers, servers, and terminal resources through permission, browser sessions, revocation, and evidence records.
We exist to close the gap between giving connectivity and governing access.
Our approach
Remote access usually starts with providing a connection, but tracking who worked on which resource, with what scope, often remains a separate problem.
Cerberus treats access as an operation, not a connection. This perspective shapes our product decisions, security model, and record structure.
You can find how the product works and technical details on the What is Cerberus page and in the docs. This page shares the approach and principles we follow when designing the product.
Closed by default
Access is not left open and then restricted — it starts closed and opens only when a decision is made. Every work session requires a new permission.
Readable records
Readable operation records replace raw log piles. Who worked on which resource, under which decision, and how the work closed stays visible.
Resources stay in place
Computers and terminals are not moved, copied, or exposed. Work happens through controlled sessions while the resource stays in its own environment.
Access closure
When work ends or an assignment expires, the access path closes. Instead of indefinitely open connections, every work session has an end.
Who is it for?
Cerberus is designed for teams and workspaces of any size that need to govern access.
IT operations
Teams that need controlled access to resources for remote maintenance, support, and management tasks.
Technical support
Outside or in-house support teams that need limited and auditable access to specific machines.
Regulated environments
Regulatory or organizational audit requirements where who accessed what resource and when must be recorded.
Multi-workspace setups
Organizations that want to manage multiple teams, locations, or resource groups from a single panel.
